Watch: Epstein survivors speak publicly outside the Capitole United States

The victims of Jeffrey Epstein gave emotional accounts of sexual abuses on Wednesday, when they talked about the stages of the American Capitol and called on legislators to publish more files on the condemned sex offender.

One of the women, Lisa Phillips, said that the group had started to compile a confidential list of Epstein associates who, according to them, were involved in abuse

“We will confidentially compile the names we all know regularly in the world of Epstein,” she said. “It will be done by survivors and for survivors.”

The event was organized by American legislators who call for more files of the Epstein survey to be published publicly.

During the two -hour press conference, nine women accusing Epstein detailed their experiences and their abuses from the financier in disgrace.

Ms. Phillips urged the Ministry of Justice to disclose all the documents and information he has from the investigation, adding that many victims were afraid of the repercussions if they become public with the names themselves.

An accuser lawyer added that they were afraid of being prosecuted or attacked because “no one protected them the first time”.

Marina Lacerda, speaking publicly for the first time, said that she was working for Epstein from the age of 14 until the age of 17, when the disgrace financier determined that she was “too old”.

“I was one of the dozens of girls I know personally who were forced in the Jeffrey manor … in New York when we were only children,” she said.

“One of my friends in the neighborhood told me that I could win $ 300 to give another guy a massage,” said Lacerda, while becoming visibly emotional. “It went from a dream job at the worst nightmare.”

Annie Farmer, who is now 46, said that she was taken to the New Mexico at the age of 16 to spend a weekend with Epstein. Her sister was also transported by plane and reported the abuses, she said, but nothing was done.

“We still do not know why this report was not rightly investigated, nor why Epstein and his associates were allowed to harm hundreds, even thousands, other girls and young women,” she said.

Chauntae Davies addressed a question about the relationship between Trump and Epstein, saying that the “biggest boastful of the sex offender was that he was very good friends with Donald Trump”.

“He had a photo framed by him on his desk, with both,” she said.

Trump was a friend of Epstein, but said they fell in the early 2000s because the financier poache employees of the Florida Golf Club of Trump.

“This is a democrat hoax that never ends,” Trump told journalists in the oval office on Wednesday when they asked him about the nearby press conference.

He said that “no one is never satisfied” of the files that have been published, adding that the call to more versions is a distraction of his file in office.

“Really, I think it’s enough,” said Trump.

Tuesday evening, 33,000 pages and several videos were made public by the Chamber’s supervisory committee, which assigned the Ministry of Justice and the Epstein Domaine. Most of them, however, were already in the public domain.

The best democrat of the committee, Robert Garcia, said: “Don’t let it be wrong”.

“After a meticulous examination, the surveillance of the Democrats noted that 97% of the documents received from the Ministry of Justice were already public. There is no mention of a list of customers or something that improves transparency or justice for the victims,” he said.

It is believed that the Ministry of Justice has around 100,000 pages of equipment on Epstein.

The Tuesday press release followed the publication last month of the interview of the United States Ministry of Justice with Ghislaine Maxwell, who was an accomplice of Epstein.

In transcriptions – which take place at 300 pages, some highly expurgated – Maxwell said that even if she believed that Trump and Epstein were sympathetic “in social circles”, she did not think they were close friends.

Two members of the Chamber, the Republican Thomas Massie of Kentucky and the Democrat Ro Khanna from California, try to force a vote in the Department of Justice to disclose all documents in the case.

They gathered signatures on Wednesday and will need 218 to force a vote. This will mean that two Republicans should support the plan.

“It is ashamed that it was called a hoax. It is not a hoax,” said Massie. “There are real victims of this criminal enterprise and the authors are protected because they are rich and powerful.”

The leaders of the White House congress and the Republican Congress oppose the release of all the files, saying that this could expose the identity of the victims who do not want to become public.
