The Israeli army wants people to leave the city of Gaza before moving

The Israeli army told the Palestinians that the evacuation of the city of Gaza was “inevitable”, while its forces are preparing to conquer it.

In an article on X on Wednesday, the spokesman for the military army, Avichay Adraee, said that families moving south “would receive the most generous humanitarian aid”.

Israeli tanks pushed in a new area of Gaza City overnight, forcing more residents to flee, witnesses said. Thousands of people have already evolved due to the recent Israeli advances – mainly in other parts of the city, where around a million Palestinians live.

The evacuation call comes as US President Donald Trump should chair a meeting on a post-war vision for Gaza in the White House.

At the beginning of August, Israel announced its intention to occupy the entire Gaza Strip – including Gaza City, which it described as the last bastion of Hamas.

The UN and non -governmental organizations have warned that an Israeli offensive in Gaza City would have a “horrible humanitarian impact”.

Late Tuesday, tanks entered the district of Ibad al-Rahman, in the northern outskirts of the city, destroying several houses, reported the reuters news agency.

“Suddenly, we have heard that the tanks were pushing to Ibad Al-Rahman, the sounds of the explosions became more and more strong, and we saw people escaping to our region,” Reuters Saad Abeters told a message from his home in Jala Street, about 1 km (0.6 mile).

On Wednesday, the tanks would have withdrawn to Jabalia, an area further north where they operated.

Sheagiya is informed.

The Israeli army said in a statement on Wednesday that its troops were committed to combat in the Jabalia region and on the outskirts of Gaza City, adding that they had eliminated a “terrorist cell” and located a weapon storage installation.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel’s intention to conquer the entire Gaza Strip after indirect discussions with Hamas on a cease-fire and hostage release contract broke up last month.

But Netanyahu faces international and national pressures.

Tuesday evening, tens of thousands of demonstrators gathered in Tel Aviv demanding a cease-fire contract to bring the other Israeli hostages to the house held by Hamas. Only 20 of the 50 hostages would be alive.

In Washington on Tuesday, the American special envoy Steve Witkoff said that the White House worked on “a very complete plan” for Gaza d’Enumerre.

He told Fox News that the plan “for the next day” would be discussed during a “big meeting in the White House” chaired by Trump on Wednesday.

He gave no details but said that he expected the conflict to Gaza to be settled “in one way or another, certainly before the end of this year”.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack by Hamas against southern Israel on October 7, 2023, during which around 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.

Nearly 62,900 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Ministry of Health managed by Hamas.

Most of the Gaza population has also been moved several times; It is estimated that more than 90% of the houses are damaged or destroyed; and health, water, sanitation and hygiene systems collapsed; And global food security experts have not confirmed that there was famine in the Gaza City region.
