The sheriff of the County of Poly Judd Grady speaks to Auberndale Raid illegal of illegal game

The Polk County Sheriff department and the Auburndale police department have joined forces to search Florida stores for illegal game machines.

In a video shared on Facebook by the Sheriff Department of Polk County, the Sheriff of Polk County, Grady Judd, described more evidence entered after the two agencies responsible for the application of laws made a descent as part of an investigation into the illegal game below.

The video shows that the officers load game machines, probably deemed illegally operating, on a truck. The research seems to have taken place in an independent company, with a sign in the background suggesting that it is a kind of cold meats or restaurants. A press conference with more information on the operation and wider efforts to prevent the illegal game will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 4.

The Sheriff Judd said that the operation was part of a joint operation between the Sheriff Department of Polk County and the Auburndale police service. Auburndale is a city in the county of Poly, in Florida.

“This is what happens when the organizations responsible for the law enforcement are associated,” said the Sheriff of the County of Polk Grady Judd. “Good things happen, the bad guys are going to prison.”

Illegal game in Florida and through the United States

Last month, nearly 250 illegal slot machines were seized in another team effort between the Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC) and the Port Richey and New Port Richey police, again stressing the importance of interinating cooperation. The operation spread over five locations and marked a broader repression of illegal games across the country.

A similar operation took place in San Francisco, while recent data have shown that illegal bets occupy almost a third of the American market. It is estimated that it costs $ 15.3 billion per year of taxes, offshore platforms obtaining a total turnover of $ 53.9 billion, but also exposes users at a higher risk of fraud, flight and damage linked to the game.
