France has suspended its reception program for the Palestinians fleeing Gaza.

The frost will be in place while the authorities investigate a Palestinian student in France who has been accused of having made anti-Semitic remarks online, said French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot.

The 25 -year -old woman was on the stock market in the city of Lille in northern France and has to leave the country after her university withdrawn her accreditation.

France has helped more than 500 people leave Gaza since the war between Israel and Hamas broke out after the attacks of October 7, 2023.

The woman, who arrived in France in July, was to start taking courses at the University of Sciences Po Lille in the fall.

It has since been degenerated, said the university.

The French Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, wrote on X that he had asked that the account be closed, the judicial measures to be brought. “The propagandists of Hamas have no place in our country,” he added.

The Palestinians already in France thanks to this program will be “subject to a new check” after “failures that brought this young woman here,” added Mr. Barrot.

He said the security checks carried out by state services and the Israeli authorities had not detected these “unacceptable and concerning remarks”.

The sciences of Po Lille University confirmed women’s comments to AFP and told the news agency that the posts were “in direct contradiction with the confirmed values” by the institution.

The woman was part of a group evacuated from Gaza as part of a program led by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, said science director Po Lille told French Newspaper Liberation.
