Tottenham “lacked energy” because they were beaten 4-0 by Bayern Munich during their last manager admitted and admitted manager Thomas Frank.

Harry Kane scored the penalty place against his former club before the goals of Kingsley Coman, Lennart Karl, 17, and Jonah Kusi-Asare won a dominant victory for the Giants of Bundesliga.

The Spurs will face the winners of the Paris St-Germain Champions League next week and despite the heavy defeat, Frank is not worried.

He said, “We were obviously playing a very good team tonight. Bayern in my opinion is one of the teams who are probably the favorites to win the Champions League, they have reached a good level, we have not reached a good level, it is a bad combination but we will certainly learn from it.

“I certainly obtained answers in which we are going to examine, but we will think calmly after the match now and examine it.

“It also seems that we lack a certain energy that we must find – no team can play without this energy.”

Tottenham is in the Super Cup after winning the Europa League next season and will face the most severe tests against PSG before starting its first Premier League campaign under the former boss of Brentford Frank.

“We will be 100% ready for this match, I am not in doubt,” he added.

. “Six days ago in advance, we have a normal week for the first time in the past two weeks, so with everything – just descend, fewer travel, energize them, three or four good sessions – so we will be ready against PSG.”
