Gaza: “How can you talk about recognition when a genocide is committed against 2.3 million people?”
As a crowd of Western countries now recognize the state of Palestine, in a historic first, Eve Irvine welcomes Chris Gunness, former spokesperson for the United Nations Association and Works (UNRWA). Mr. Gunness warns that “it’s just” symbolic. How can you talk about recognition when a genocide is committed against 2.3 million people in Gaza “and when Israel is” on the rod “to annex the West Bank”.
