Glasner admits that Palace must replace Eze after fighting in the Europa Conference League qualifying in the conference league

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner said his team must find a way to compete without Ebechi Eze after being excluded from the Europa conference league with Fredrikstad on Thursday.
The Eagles managed to win a 1-0 victory during their very first European outing, with Jean-Phillipe Mateta catching the only goal of the match.
But there was a separate lack of quality in the side with missing Eze, something that can hinder them in the leg back in Norway.
Speaking after the match, Glasner said: “When you play against such a deep block, you may need someone who can dribble one or two players and score by himself.
“This is what Ebelechi gives us. We have other profiles now, Ismaila is a runner, JP is in the box and Devenny. We tried to find them in the wings with many crosses in the box.
“EBS will no longer play for us, so it doesn’t make sense to talk about him.
“Let’s go. It seems to wish him all the best for the new club and for us, it is a question of bringing more players, but they will not be allowed to play in the second stage.
“We knew that more or less it would happen, so we are already looking for weeks for the right replacements and we hope to do it in 10 days with more pressure.
“I will be involved, but it’s my job to prepare the team with Nottingham Forest. We are undefeated this season so far and this is how we want to continue. ”
President Steve Parish was also questioned after the match on the absence of Eze, the boss of the palace confirming everything except the departure of his star.
He said, “We have to go beyond that. He was fantastic for us and we are happy that he continues to realize his ambitions.
“We have to find other players to support the team and Oliver Glasner. We are going to bring players, it’s about finding the right players.
“I don’t think Oliver wants too much, I think it’s the right number. It is a question of doing well, we are a little thin anyway. We are working on what we are working on and we will seek to obtain the quality we can.
“We are very lucky with Oliver because he is very involved, he is a very data -oriented manager. He is very precise on what he wants.
