Halsey they are thinking about their transition for two years their illness.

“No. I just want to say; I looked like this two years ago and the progress I’ve made since then is a miracle,” Halsey, 30, wrote via Instagram Saturday, January 18. (Halsey goes by her pronunciation.)

Halsey shared the latest photos, showing the singer holding an iPhone revealing a selfie from two years ago. In two photos taken recently, Halsey smiled and laughed as she uploaded the first photo.

“I realize on my own time, thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey,” Halsey continued. “And I’m cute as f- now, so that’s cool. 🤍.”

Halsey shared in June 2024 that she was “lucky to be alive” following the secret battle for health. Halsey explained that threats to her health inspired the new song “The End.”

“Years now, the doctor says I’m sick / They pull out a new bag of smarts / then they put me to bed,” Halsey sings. “And at first, it was my brain / then my bones hurt / And I don’t like to complain, but I’m sorry.”

He continues, “When I met you, I said I wasn’t going to die / But the jokes were always mine because I’m running against time / And I know it’s not the end of the world, but can you pick me up at 8? / Because my medicine starts today.

Hours later, Halsey shared that she was diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder two years ago. “Both of these are controlled or forgiven; and all that I will have for the rest of my life,” Halsey wrote via Instagram at the time.

Halsey recently revealed how healthy she is. “In 2022, I was diagnosed with Lupus SLE and later with T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder,” Halsey, 29, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, June 5. (…)

He continued: “After a rough start, I gradually got back under control with the help of some amazing doctors. After 2 years, I feel better and I’m more excited than ever to have music to start with.”

Halsey shared that she appreciates her fans for supporting the song. “Thank you guys for the incredible love for ‘The End’ and the support you’ve shown me,” Halsey concluded. “I realize that everyone is hearing stories that I’ve been keeping for a long time, and I didn’t know how I wanted to share them.”

Halsey lamented that she “can’t wait to get back to where (they) are” and play again fans.
