Hamas says it will allow hostage aid if Israel opens humanitarian corridors, stops air strikes

Hamas said that on Sunday, August 3, it was ready to coordinate with the Red Cross to provide the hostage help it holds in Gaza, if Israel meets certain conditions, after a video that it has published showing an emaciated captive aroused strong criticism from the Western powers. Hamas said it would allow the CICR access to hostages, but only if “humanitarian corridors” for food and help were open “in all areas of the Gaza Strip”. Douglas Herbert of France 24 gives us his analysis on the situation.
