Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the recognition of a Palestinian state as a “shame brand” during a combative speech to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Dozens of officials and diplomats organized a walk while walking towards the podium, leaving large parts of the empty conference room.

The demonstrators also arrived in the streets of New York brandishing “Palestine” panels.

Images have shown that Netanyahu’s speech was castigated on speakers on the border of Israel-Gaza.

Israel has undergone enormous international pressure on its military action in Gaza, culminating in the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia and other countries recognizing Palestine’s state this week.
