Isaac Chamberlain has withdrawn from the fight against Viddal Riley due to injury.

London Cruiserweights Riley and Chamberlain have created a rivalry that has led to their much-anticipated fight on February 1.

But an injury sustained in training by Chamberlain has ruled Brixton out of the competition.

Azim is stepping up to the international stage as he looks to prove that he is ready to take on the best in the field. His last fight was a solid victory over Ohara Davies in October at the Copper Box Arena.

The unbeaten 22-year-old looked his best as he commanded action and dominated Davies from the opening bell, ending the fight in stunning fashion in eight rounds.

But Lipinet is a former IBF super-lightweight champion of the world. The Kazakhstan-born fighter captured the IBF belt with a recent victory over Akihiro Kondo in 2017.

The 35-year-old established himself as one of the top contenders in the super-lightweight and welterweight divisions with wins over former world champions Lamont Peterson and Omar Figueroa Jr.

Riley would have been up against Chamberlain in the primary race to support the bill. But the war is almost over.

Promoter Ben Shalom said: “Unfortunately Isaac suffered an injury during the training camp and will not be able to fight on February 1.

“Viddal and Isaac’s battle has already begun. We were happy to finally see them in the ring and disappointed that next week will not go as planned. We wish Isaac a speedy recovery. News on what’s next for Viddal will follow soon.”
