Israeli forces intensify their attacks on the periphery of Gaza City, according to residents, while the army intensifies the preparations for an offensive on the ground to conquer it.

Hospitals said women and children were part of more than 30 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes in the city on Wednesday, most of them in the north and west.

The chief of staff of the Israeli army promised to “continue to strike the centers of gravity of Hamas until he is defeated” and his released hostages.

The UN and the aid groups said that Israeli operations already had “horrible humanitarian consequences” for displaced families is redone in the city, which houses a million people and where a famine was declared last month.

Meanwhile, Israeli demonstrators took part in that they called a “day of disturbance” to press their government to immediately agree with an agreement that would end the war in exchange for the release of the 48 Israeli and foreign hostages in Gaza, 20 of which would be alive.

Hospital officials said the Israeli strikes and gunshots across the Gaza Strip had killed at least 46 people since midnight.

Shifa Hospital in Gaza City said it had received the body of 21 people, five of whom killed when an Israeli plane has targeted an apartment in the western fisherman’s port area.

One of the strikes killed the parents and two sisters of Ibrahim al-Mabhuh, three, said his grandmother.

Umm Abu al-Abed Abu al-Jubein told the news agency in Reuters that she had found it buried under the rubble of a chronicle destroyed in the house where the family moved from the neighboring city of Jabalia had sheltered.

“He is the only one that God saved … We woke up to the boy, shouting,” she said.

The first speakers said that Israeli drones also abandoned the incendiary bombs near a clinic during the night in the northern district of Sheikh Radwan, where troops and tanks would have progressed.

Videos published on social networks during the night appeared to a fire next to an ambulance inside the Sheikh Radwan clinic, and another fire ambulance in a neighboring street.

Residents also told Reuters that Israeli forces had abandoned grenades on three Sheikh Radwan schools used as shelters for displaced families, setting fire tents and detonated armored vehicles loaded with explosives to destroy the houses east of the neighborhood.

“Sheikh Radwan is burned.

The Israeli army said it was checking the reports.

During a visit to Gaza on Wednesday, the chief of staff of the army, the lieutenant-general Eyal Zamir, told the troops: “We entered the second phase of operation” Gideon’s Chariots “to achieve the objectives of the war.”

“Turning our hostages is both a moral and national mission. We will continue to strike the Hamas gravity centers until it is defeated.”

Hamas denounced what it called “systematic destruction operations” by the Israeli forces of Gaza City, claiming that they constituted “an unprecedented violation” of international law.

Most of the 82,000 newly inappropriate people went to the crowded coast west of Gaza City

The United Nations agencies and their humanitarian partners in the Gaza site management cluster said that the announcement of intensified Israeli military operations in Gaza City on August 7 “had horrible humanitarian consequences for people in travel sites, many of whom were moved before North Gaza (Governor), which includes Jabalia.

They warned that many households were unable to move due to high costs and logistical challenges, as well as a lack of safe space. And they said that forcing hundreds of thousands to move south could constitute forced transfer under international law.

Since August 14, more than 82,000 people had been newly moved, according to the cluster. Most people moved to the crowded coast. Only a third party left for southern Gaza, as the Israeli army said.

The army told them to go to the Al-Mawasi region, saying that medical care, water and food will be provided. However, the UN has tent camps that are overcrowded and dangerous, and that the Hospitals in the South work their capacity several times.

On Tuesday, five children were killed while they were queuing for the water in a tent camp in Al-Mawasi. Witnesses said they had been struck by an Israeli drone.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel’s intention to conquer all Gaza after indirect discussions with Hamas on a cease-fire and hostage release contract was broken in July.

The families of the hostages fear that the offensive endangering those which have held in the city of Gaza and wish that the Prime Minister is rather negotiating an agreement which would obtain his release.

Regional mediators presented a proposal that would see 10 living hostages and the 18 dead hostages released during a 60 -day truce. However, Netanyahu said he would only accept a complete agreement that would see them all released and disarmed Hamas.

“My son Rom is dying, starving and tortured. You can see in his eyes that he no longer wants to live. There is nothing more difficult than a father can witness when he can do nothing,” he said, according to the Haaretz newspaper.

“How is it possible that a month after the publication of my son’s video, showing horrors there, the government leaves it there? And the Prime Minister wants to conquer more territory? I cannot understand this.”

US President Donald Trump, who helped negotiate the cease-fire release agreement and previous hostage in January, wrote on social networks: “Tell Hamas immediately restoring the 20 hostages (not 2 or 5 or 7!), And things will change quickly. It will end!”

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack by Hamas against southern Israel on October 7, 2023, during which around 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.
