Jessica Alba and Cash Warren they say they faced many relationship issues during their 17-year marriage, including jealousy and waning love.

The couple had high hopes for their marriage but soon became engaged when they changed their “advantages” and started welcoming children.

After reports revealed that the two were planning a divorce, Jessica Alba confirmed the news, announcing that they were going their separate ways to “start a new chapter.”

Alba and Warren’s marriage had many marital problems before it fell apart.

The couple met in 2004 on the set of the “Fantastic Four” movie and tied the knot four years later with the hopes of living happily ever after.

However, the source revealed the difficulties and problems they had to fix in their marriage, telling them Daily Mail that the change in their “leads” and their lack of love became an issue along the way.

“Things have been really bad with them in love for over a year,” an insider told a reporter. “They are very devoted to their children and their work, but they were not developing their relationship. They are just friends.”

“When they started, they decided they would work and make movies and TV shows together,” the source continued. “But when their businesses started and they had children, their priorities changed and their attitudes changed as well.”

Although there have been rumors that infidelity was the reason behind the adultery in their marriage, the source explained that this was not the case for the two.

“They all want a fresh start,” the insider said. “There was no deception going on. They had been hanging around for the last year or two, and it was time to move on.”

According to the news outlet, the insider shared that Alba’s success in business left Warren thinking that their relationship was no longer important to him.

The “Honey” actor founded The Honest Company in 2011, which was valued at $1.44 billion as of 2021.

Meanwhile, Warren’s businesses, which include production company Verso Entertainment and underwear brand Pair of Thieves, are said to have generated more than $100 million.

The source said Daily Mail that Alba “was so focused on his business that he didn’t give Cash any chance to get things done, and he tried.”

“He just kept rejecting any attempts at dating and doing things as a family,” she shared. “It got to the point where it was easier for him to give up and give him what he wanted in the end.”

During an appearance on Jana Kramer’s “Whine Down” podcast in 2023, Warren explained how her jealousy nearly destroyed their relationship.

The Hollywood producer, who appears to have been out of work since 2015, explained that when they first met, “she was very jealous of other guys and the attention she got from other guys,” adding that “It just didn’t make me feel good.”

Amidst their split, the source said People’s magazine that they are still “friends and everything about the children” but said that it will be difficult for them not to legally separate because it has been “difficult to keep the fire” in their marriage.
