Jimmy Kimmel may be back, but concerns about freedom of expression and press freedom continue.

After a brief suspension for comments he made following the murder of Charlie Kirk, Jimmy Kimmel made his return at the end of the evening.

This was only the latest example of a series of cancellations, resignations, prosecution, colonies and potential mergers that tell the story of a winning media industry or consolidation under a few wealthy and powerful, many of which are friendly with the Trump administration.

Eoin Higgins, independent journalist and author of “Owned: How Tech Billionaires on the right bought the most noisy voices on the left” joins us to talk about the biggest history of what is happening with the American media and the changes to come.
