Kane puts another hat -trick while Bayern and AC Milan win but Juventus held

Some of the best European clubs were in action on Saturday when the national season rumbled across the continent.

Real Madrid sent Espanyol to cement their place at the top of the Liga – and Kylian Mbappe was the man to lead them to victory once again.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich of Harry Kane was back in action with a trip to Hoffenheim, and Juventus was on the road to Hellas Verona.

In the late window, Udinese welcomed AC Milan in Serie A.

HOFFENHEIM 1-4 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich continued its dominant start to the Bundesliga season with a 4-1 victory in Hoffenheim.

Harry Kane was the star of the show, by filling out a beginner-premium opener thanks to a low delivery of Lennart Karl, 17, who posted an impressive vision in a right corner.

Kane then doubled his count at the start of the second half, converting a penalty after Handball Hajdari, before finishing his hat -trick in the last 15 minutes after a fault on olise.

Hellas Verona 1-1 Juventus

The perfect start of Juventus in Serie A season ended because they were held in a 1-1 draw by Hellas Verona.

Visitors started slowly but finally took the lead in the 19th minute when Conceicao produced a sublime solo effort.
