Kristi Noem says we will pour the wall of the Mexican border in black in order to make it warmer, more difficult to climb

The American secretary for internal security, Kristi Noem, said on Tuesday that the whole border wall along the southern border with Mexico was going to be painted in black – a decision that she attributed to the American president Donald Trump – to make him warmer and dissuade illegal immigration.
Noem spoke during a visit to a part of the New Mexico wall, where she also picked up a roll of paint to help with painting.
It praised the height and the depth of the wall to dissuade people seeking to pass or below. And then Noem said interior security would try black paint to make the metal warmer.
“It is specifically at the request of the president, who understands that in hot temperatures here when something is painted in black, it becomes even warmer and it will make people even more difficult for people to climb. So we will paint the whole wall from the south of southern to make sure that we encourage individuals not to enter our country,” said Noem.
The head of the American border patrol, Mike Banks, who attended the event with Noem, said that painting would also help dissuade the rust.
Billions for internal security
During Trump’s first term, the construction of the wall was at the center of its immigration policy on the line. During its second term, its mass expulsion program with arrests within the country was the main objective, but internal security will obtain approximately $ 46 billion to complete the wall as part of the new funding adopted by the Congress this summer.
Noem said they had built hundreds of meters of barrier every day.
“The border wall will be very different depending on the topography and geography of its construction,” she said.
She said that in addition to barriers like the one she visited on Tuesday, the Department also works on “the infrastructure of water origin”. Long sections of the border between the United States and Mexico are along the Rio Grande River in Texas.
The Trump administration pushes forward with the completion of the wall at the same time as the number of people crossing the border illegally fell.
