“Angel was a key signature for Tigres and is a player who can make a big difference,” said Miami manager Javier Mascherano.

“He moves very well and is able to injure you. We will do our best to neutralize it.

“They have a lot of very good attackers. Angel can play at the top with very dangerous wingers.

“If you allow them to have possession of the ball, they will make you difficult. We must try to manage the rhythm of the game, to be protagonists and to maintain possession.”

Correa, who won the Europa and Laliga League and reached the Champions League final over 11 years with ATLETI, was predictable diplomatic when asked for her reflections.
