Leeds United Jirts Gambling Sponsor Ban with New Parimatch Partnership

Despite the ban on first league game sponsors, Leeds United has taken front with a new Parimatch partnership.

The Premier League club has signed a new sponsorship agreement with Parimatch, a Paris company that operates throughout Europe. While the prohibition prohibits any sponsorship at the top of the shirt for the 2026/27 season, Parimatch will be the official partner of the Channel for Leeds United.

It is not entirely the same prominent position as the locations of previous shirt sponsors, as seen on Bournemouth, Fulham, Newcastle and Wolves. However, he still marks a link between at least one Premier League club and a game business. This occurs after Leeds has only recovered promotion in the League.

Leeds United welcomes Parimatch on and off the field

More specifically, the Parimatch brand will be presented on several zones of the kit and other LEEDS locations, including the left -handed game shirt, prominent displays at Elland Road and Thorp Arch Training Ground, and the positioning of the LED backdrop and the media of the perimeter.

This is not the first Premier League partnership for Parimatch, after having established a partnership with other clubs like Chelsea, Aston Villa and Leicester City.

“The addition of Parimatch as a handle partner represents our commitment to work with established and trustworthy brands that include football,” said Morrie Eisenberg, business director of Leeds United. “Their vast experience of the sports industry is aligned with our goal of providing innovative campaigns while supporting our ambitions on the ground.”

Although the gaming sponsorships on the front of the shirts are prohibited, the presence of Paris in the Premier League is still widespread. Towards the end of last year, the advertisements between the game games between the Premier League matches on television tripled compared to the start of the year, demonstrating a major interest in fans.
