Life after a trauma: Palestinian refugees start again in France
Since the start of the war in Gaza, France has welcomed several hundred Gazans safely. Priority has been given to families of children seriously injured in attacks, such as Ayham, who lost his two legs at only 15 years on October 14, 2023. The artists and scientists were also evacuated by the Pause program, which supports intellectuals in exile. Dr. Fadel Afana joined a team of psychiatrists from Sainte-Anne hospital in Paris, while rapper Gazan Abu Joury was evacuated with the help of the Al Kamandjati association in Angers.
