Madan LAL questions the exclusion of Yashasvi Jaiswal from the Indian Asian Cup 2025 team

“Sometimes you feel surprised that a player like Yashasvi Jaiswal is not in the team. Gill is a good choice because he works well. In the coming time, Gill may play in the three formats … The players who make the team win a match should not be excluded. We have such a good team that we can win the Asian Cup”, “ LAL pointed out.

LAL’s comments highlight the importance of having matched match winners in the mixture, especially in a high challenges tournament like the Asian Cup where even a single performance can change momentum.

Jaiswal’s impressive T20 form

Although he missed the recent T20I series, Jaiswal has always impressed in the shortest format. His last appearance for India came in July 2024 against Sri Lanka, after which Sanja Samson And Abhishek Sharma were preferred as an open -time.

The 22 -year -old man, however, has evolved in shape for IPL 2025, almonding 559 sections at a dazzling typing rate of 160. Comparatively, Gill had an equally strong season with 650 points at a typing rate of 156, also guiding guiding Gujarat titans in the playoffs.
