Miami Dolphins Week 18 injury report. Tua Tagovailoa

The Denver Broncos fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime on the road last week, missing a chance to end the Miami Dolphins’ postseason hopes and earn their first road trip in eight years. The Dolphins are still in the postseason race, thanks to their win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.

In Week 18, the Dolphins will face the 4-12 New York Jets, who are currently seventh in the 2025 NFL draft order. Miami will qualify for the playoffs for the third straight season if they win and the Broncos lose Kansas City Chiefs at home.

Miami’s injury report for the key Week 18 game is below.

Miami Dolphins injury report for Week 18

The Miami Dolphins‘ Injuries still dominate the quarterback Tua TagovailoaThigh problem, but on Wednesday, three players missed the game due to injury.

Additionally, offensive tackle Kendall Lamm was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. It’s unclear what put Lamm on injured reserve, as he played against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16 and Cleveland on Sunday after missing the Week 15 game against the Houston Texans with a back injury.

Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. (knee), safety Jordan Poyer (knee/toe), and tackle Terron Armstead (knee) also missed Wednesday’s practice for Miami. Defensive end Calais Campbell (rest) was also DNP, but is not dealing with any injuries.

Walker did not return to practice after missing last week’s win over the Cleveland Browns. As for Armstead, he went down with a knee injury in the first half of last week’s game and did not return.

Four other key Dolphins players were also listed as participating in Wednesday’s practice: safety Jevon Holland (hand), punter Jake Bailey (back), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (knee), wide receiver Tyreek Hill (arm/rest), and Tagovailoa (hip).

Tagovailoa is dealing with a hip injury he suffered against the Houston Texans in Week 15. He was able to play with the injury in Week 16 against the 49ers but was unable to play last week against the Browns.

Coach Mike McDaniel announced Wednesday that the team will be getting a returning quarterback Tyler Huntley ready as the QB1 for Week 18. Additionally, he said the team will have time to return to Tagovailoa as the week progresses if he recovers.

Linebacker Duke Riley participated in Wednesday’s game despite a foot problem listed on the injury report.
