Novak Djokovic spoke honestly about Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner who can break his record. Alcaraz, who is currently ranked No. 3 in the ATP rankings, and Wosimha, who is ranked high, have been making a lot of noise in the tennis world recently.

Djokovic has written his name in tennis history with an astonishing 24 Grand Slam titles, including 10 Australian Opens, three French Opens, seven Wimbledons, and four US Opens – making him the most successful singles player of all time. In an interview with GQ Games On Thursday, January 9, the Serbian tennis star said that although his record may seem unbreakable to some, he believes that Alcaraz is A sinner may be the ones to step into his shoes in the future.

“It’s very early.” But, you know, people say my record will never be broken. I doubt it. I mean, Carlos could be the next guy. Even Jannik.” said Djokovic.

He also emphasized that if Sinha and Alcaraz prioritize being fit and taking care of their bodies, they can achieve long-term success.

“If they take care of the body, if they do things right, think about longevity, think about the long term, then they can do it,” he said.

Novak Djokovic will begin his campaign against Nishesh Basavareddy at the Australian Open on Sunday, January 12. The two have never met on the ATP Tour, so it will make for an interesting matchup.

If Djokovic wins, he will face Pavel Kotov in the second round, followed by a third-round match with either Reilly Opelka or Tomas Machac. Grigor Dimitrov or Jiri Lehecka will wait for him in the fourth round.

If the Serb makes it to the quarterfinals, he could face a tough test in the much-anticipated match against Carlos Alcaraz. Alternatively, they could take Sebastian Korda or 2024 US Open semifinalist Jack Draper.

In the semifinals, the 24-time Grand Slam champion can face formidable opponents such as Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud, or Tommy Paul. If he reaches the final, he could compete against World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz, or Alex de Minaur.
