One dead and several wounded as the Danish train strikes the oil tanker and derails them


At least one person died and several others were injured after a train collided with an oil tanker and derailed in southern Denmark, officials said.
Police said the accident occurred between the cities of Tinglev and Kliplev in southern Jutland, and that the police were on the site.
The local TV2 point of sale reported that helicopters had been sent to the scene and cited local rail officials as indicating that the train had “hit an oil tanker” during a level crossing.
The DSB country’s rail operator said that he had closed the services between Tinglev and Sønderborg near the German border.

Photos of the scene showed a car lying on the side, with passengers stood around the railways.
Police said 95 passengers were on board, including students from a school in Sønderborg. Two of the injured were swept away by the helicopter.
The national railway agency Banedanmark wrote on X that the collision occurred during a railway crossing. According to local media, at least two of the train cars have derailed.
