Polymarket aims to launch with legalized sports betting

Polymarket, the operator of the prediction market, has obtained certifications through its partner companies to facilitate legalized sports betting during the launch.
Since the company received the green light to offer its services from Paris to North America, there has been a quick push to make them available for the Autumn Sports Action.
Polymarket wins approval to operate sports betting on the launch
As we have pointed out, Polymarket acquired, within the framework of an agreement of $ 112 million, an exchange of derivatives approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, QCX LLC, and its exchange center, QC Clearing LLC, collectively known as “QCEX”.
This key company allowed Polymarket to establish itself and continue to operate in North America. This was supported with thin approval like the razor of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
At that time, Shayne Coplan, founder and CEO of Polymarket, said: “Polymarket is the largest prediction market on a global scale and has become synonymous with the probability of current events.”
He then posted on social networks on the approval of Polymarket to operate in North America and on the return which shared the regulators of the state and federal for more than a year.
Polymarket acquired QCEX, an exchange and an exchange center regulated by CFTC, for $ 112 million.
This opens the way for us to welcome American merchants again.

Polymarket updates deadlines to offer sports betting
Now, as part of official opinions published on the QCEX website, the supplier has a possible lunch date to offer lines in Paris.
Regulatory declarations on the company of the company approved by the CFTC indicate that there was a date of time of October 7, 2025, after which Polymarket could start to offer event lines, but this was now modified on October 2, 2025.
Another interesting point is the regulatory deposit indicating that the data polymarket will use for its sports lines officially comes from Sportsdata.
By digging a little more deeply, the data supplier published an article in August which supported the rise in the prediction markets with a declaration: “niche today does not forever mean the niche forever”.
To say: “Kalshi, Polymarket and Sporttrade build more compliant and friendly versions of what has started as foreign projects. But let’s not forget: it is not a whole new trend. It is a blackberry that finally gets its due. ”
