Recognition of the state “rewards the Palestinian people”

Iraq president Abdul Latif Rashid told Tom Bateman of the BBC that he rejected the idea that the recognition of the state of Palestine rewards Hamas.

France officially recognized a Palestinian state on Monday, joining other nations such as the United Kingdom, Portgual, Canada and Australia.

International pressure is accelerating on Israel for the humanitarian crisis which takes place in Gaza and the construction of colonies in the West Bank.
