At least 15 people are feared in sudden fresh floods triggered by intense rains in the northwest region of Pakistan, which is already in shock from the devastating deluge last week.

An official said that a sudden increase in water has overwhelmed several houses and swept away residents in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Strong rains have also interrupted rescue work in the region.

The number of people killed through Pakistan and cashmere administered by Pakistan is now placed at more than 330.

Emergency teams in search of missing people find it difficult to remove the mud and debris, as reported by BBC Azadeh Moshiri.
