In a video shared by MCA on X, Rohit Sharma expressed the importance of Wankhede Stadium in his cricketing journey. He remembered the charm of the old stadium when he first played there. Sharma emphasized how the venue also commemorates Indian cricket, Mumbai Indians, and MCA.
“When I first played, the old stadium … had its own charm. And now, you know, this place has special memories of Indian cricket, Mumbai Indians, and the cricket of the Mumbai Cricket Association. So I just wish you all the best for the years to come.” . And hopefully, we can make more memories in this place,” he said.
