Sachin Tendulkar reveals the rule he would change in cricket
Asked about rules changes, Tendulkar has firmly declared that he would delete “the controversial referee” in the Decision exam system (DRS). His reasoning was simple but stimulating. According to him, players generally opt for an exam because they are not convinced of the referee’s decision on the field. In this case, he thinks that it is not very logical that the end result still depend on the same decision.
“I would change the DRS rule on the referee’s call. The players have chosen to go upstairs because they were not satisfied with the referee’s call on the field. There should not be any possibility of returning to this call”, “ Explained Tendulkar.

In its opinion, technology – despite being impeccable – provides consistency, which is essential for sport.
“Just like the way players have bad patches, the referees also have bad patches. Technology, even when it is inaccurate, will always be inaccurate”, “ Tendulkar stressed, stressing why technology dependence could make the game more equitable.
