I’m the first to admit that I’m a bit of an idiot, so I always buy extra protection for my devices. However, I am always surprised at the cost of fixing the inevitable water damage or broken screen that I bring. So, it’s good to see Samsung Care + with Theft and Loss has updated its plan to include $0 same day repairs for broken windshields and rear glass. Samsung’s most expensive security plan includes unlimited maintenance on permitted areaso you don’t have to worry if it breaks again.

Previously, same-day renewals cost $29 a pop. Maintenance + Care + customers (next level down) must pay $29 for windshield repair and $99 for rear glass repair.

However, even with the upgrade, this “free” upgrade isn’t cheap. The cost of all Samsung Care + plans varies depending on the device, each item is broken. For example, Galaxy S23 or Pictures of S24Ult it’s currently in Tier 4 and costs $18 a month or $349 for two years of Samsung Care+ and Theft and Loss. Whereas, the Galaxy A15 is in Tier 1 and will cost $8 per month or $129 for two years of the same plan.

Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss is only available for phones, tablets and watches – though watches will still cost $29 per. to fix or change. It also includes same-day replacement and installation, Knox Guard Security and max three “lost, stolen, and/or unclaimed” items in a 12-month period.
