During its race currently in two seasons, Star Wars: visions has shown the public adventures of strength users, droids and rebels. A point of view that we have not seen much is the imperial forces, despite their arrival several times in the different shorts of the series, but that changes with the new season, and things will become quite brain.

During this weekend anime in New York, the panelists took a look at “Black”, a short for the next set of episodes in October. Developed by David Production (Strength of fire), the episode focuses on an imperial stormtrooper about to lose a battle and what happens in their heads during their last moments. According to the Star Wars Description, “Noir” will be something special and “will present a psychedelic battle between the past and the present, light and darkness, and life and death”.

“Black” is produced by Shinya Ohira, who has already done and carried out animation work for One piece And The boy and the heron. In a pre-recorded video, he spoke of the “beautiful details” of the short film, such as the star of death “super detailed” and extending the action in the battle scenes to transmit the “haunted psyche” of the Stormtrooper. Visually, the film was also inspired by Ohira’s desire to put “intense battles” against the voice of Japanese singer / composer Sakura Fujiawara.

Ohira then described “black” as something “no one has ever seen before” and a “arduous task” for the animators he hopes is worth the whole problem. The article on the Star Wars website does not provide additional clips or information, but Ohira has promised the short “to really speak of itself” – and we will see how well it will speak when the third season of Star Wars: visions Disney + hits on October 29.
