See how David Corenswet became Superman in his hearing band

The world was in excitement with speculation just a few years ago when James Gunn came to launch his new Superman. Even before the game finally went to David Corenswet, he was as a probable candidate, and now you can see how he got the role.

The Youtube 21cast account published the actor’s hearing band, which he interpreted with his wife Julia Warner. The three -minute video presents him as Clark Kent interviewed as Superman by Lois Lane about his intervention in Bayyla – not Jarnanphur, as is the case in the finished film – and the first parts of their argument which contributes to clarifying the main philosophy of the film on the place of the hero in the world.

In a GQ coverage story before SUpherman Released, Gunn revealed that he had already chosen Corenswet when he saw the hearing, calling him “the guy to beat from the start”. (It did not hurt that he also sent Gunn a handwritten letter after hearing.) It turns out that a lot of people spent years thinking that he would be good for Superman, and the only one who needed to convince was Corenswet himself: he previously told people that Warner thought he was a sho-in once they had made the band. “I thought she was crazy, but she felt her from the start,” he told the magazine. “So, if something, I knew it would be even more excited than me.”
