Someone finally obtained the note and corrected this sign “Beetlejuice”

If you are a collector of film replicas, you know exactly who Star Sign we are talking about.

For years, as Star Hunter of decoration, there was an article that I refused to buy in principle because it had a blatant error: it was not precise in the universe. I bought the suspended decor Adam and Barbara Monster Face, the inflatable sand worm for my lawn, and the tombstone “here is betelge” – but never the emblematic light panel due to the fact that it always presented the ghost with the name of most which was misdolored.

Here’s what I mean. On the left, the scene of Star; On the right, the old version of the Halloween Spirit panel:

The spelling of the name of Beetlejuice has long been a point of discord. Tim Burton’s classic film spends its title Beetlejuice. But in the film, Michael Keaton’s dead guy always says “Betelgeuse”. It is seen on the lit panel, the tombstone and the flyer that the Maitland family finds.

Whether it is surveillance or products that simply went with recognizable spelling, it has always disturbed me that the replicas under license were technically incorrect. And in my house, we like to collect objects specific to the universe, so when we have built our Star Decor, we never bought the panel – or any other article which included the spelling “Beetlejuice” when it should have been “betelger”.

So you can imagine my surprise when, browsing the Spirit Halloween website, I noticed the change we waited in this year 2025:

Here it is, the precise sign of the screen in all its glory which will finally complete the tombstone of our annual Star display.

We would like to thank anyone for looking for the Fandom. Now, of course, hunting is underway to find it in our local Halloween Spirit; good luck!
