Storm moment blows the roof off the Nebraska prison

Security cameras of the penitentiary of the state of Nebraska captured images from the moment when the roof exploded from the prison housing unit during a serious storm on August 9.

No one was injured and everyone affected has been moved safely according to the state penitentiary.

“In the correctional services, we train for the unexpected,” said director Rob Jeffreys, adding that “while many of our employees are confronted with their own houses, they still presented themselves to keep their teammates, the population and the Nebraska safe”.
