“ Stranger Things’ Hellfire Club Catching up: season 2

A few months further back from Foreign things on Netflix. As we get closer to the last season, join the own Io9 club Hellfire for a rewatch of the series leading to the first season in November. If you are new, here is our first season refreshment.

On the catch -up of this month, we look Foreign things Season two. The second -year student has widened the Hawkins team with the addition of Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) and Willianly returned Will (Noah Schnapp), which is now participating in current events on the supernatural city. Will is taken between worlds in a way that is a danger to him and his friends. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is kept hidden in Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and their friends for his protection by Hopper (David Harbor). The two become a family found and encounter a danger in a way that brings the tangled network closer to the dangers of the increase in the house and suspect more suspicion surrounding the new leadership in Hawkins Lab.

1 and 1 Eleven and Hopper become an improbable family unit

Hopper takes eleven after the events of the first season when she falls backwards. To protect it from the National Laboratory of Hawkins, whose agents continue to search the life of Mike, Will, and the families of their friends, he insists that she remains far from them until they retreat. 2 Max and Lucas meet cute

Max and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) becoming lovers of the other is the cutest story of the season. The brother-in-law of Max Billy takes the crown of the King of the Steve school (Joe Keery) and makes it a demonstration. As part of their plan, Jonathan and Nancy allow themselves to be captured by Dr Owens (Paul Reiser), a lesser evil from the American energy department, which replaced Brenner as chief of the Hawkins National Laboratory.

There, they get Owens to explain that the creators of “errors” have disappeared and show them the rift upside down which was opened, that they had trouble sealing. Teenagers put him on a band admitting that he is always interesting despite the danger. Owens and the company want to ensure that other world powers like Russia do not try to reproduce “error”, and it emphasizes that this is why they sign so many people from afar for secret – living or dead. Oh, and Nancy and Jonathan? They are more than a little kiss.

8 El discovers the truth about her mother, whom Hopper hid from her

The real name of El is Jane Ives. Her mother, Terry, was informed that her daughter had died at birth, but she clearly remembered her cries before Brenner was snatching. Years later, Terry tried to go back and save Jane from the rainbow room, which she shared with a child in the same way that was eight.

Terry’s fate is more tragic; Brenner fried her brain, making her catatonic and unable to seek her child again. Eleven obtains a moment to see her mother again, but he is a soft-man in her journey to discover the truth about herself and her figures of brothers and sisters of The Rainbow Room by Hawkins Lab. Eight later, try to make sure that “Jane” joins her group of superpowers to take revenge, but she decides to resume her identity as El in Hawkins with Hopper and her friends.

9. Will’s birthday is March 22

This comes back in a major way in a later season, but it is a key means of discovering that the will is not itself. By asking a series of questions, Joyce discovers that something controls her son upside down. He admits that it now makes him part of the spirit of the hive through the bark of mind, led by someone who is very angry. At one point, Dustin suggests that the mind mind could raise an army of the living dead, which, we hope, will be paying and that we could see those that it is absorbed or consumed upwards throughout the seasons of the show. 10. Eleven closes the door

After the lateral question, eleven presents itself at the moment when time looks really hard to save the day. It is unfortunately just after the boyfriend of Joyce’s geek, Bob (Sean Astin), is torn by demonstration dogs after helping everyone gets out of the laboratory with his hacking skills. Bob was the MVP of this season, and it was heartbreaking to see him eaten in an unnecessarily long sequence. There is no way that man can come back, but he died a hero for his city.

Eleven and Hopper return to the laboratory to seal the door, and it is thanks to the eight eight inspires in eleven that it draws from its powers to seal the rift and push the bark of the spirit in its cage upside down. Shortly after, the Jonathan and Nancy Got of Owens band strike the papers. You just have to close HNL and leave Hawkins, but Owens appears to stay in touch with Hopper and thanks him by giving him custody of eleven as a father on official documents. He recommends her to sleep low for another year, but she can at least go to her first snow ball dance with Mike and have her first kiss. Hey, she saved the city again; She won it.
