Tesla cybertruck is suddenly exhausted (in a way)

After months of commercial disaster, something curious happens with the Tesla Cybertruck. For the first time since its launch in difficulty, Elon Musk’s futuristic pick-up shows signs of life.

The waiting time for the cheapest model of Cybertruck suddenly stretched over a month, suggesting a peak of request for a vehicle which, so far, almost nobody seemed to want. The question is whether it is a real turnaround for polarizing collection or simply a temporary sugar rush fueled by an imminent government deadline.

Flop media threshing: a brutal reality

Cybertruck has never been a normal vehicle. The most likely culprit for this purchasing frenzy is the expiration of the Federal EV tax credit of $ 7,500 on September 30. For last -minute buyers, the Cybertruck base model is the most attractive goal. Once the credit has been applied, its price drops to $ 64,735 more acceptable.

Tesla seems to look at the rush. The company’s website includes the tax credit, and a recent article on X of the Official Cybertruck account presented its autonomous functionalities, a clear decision to attract the attention of buyers to the fence. “Cybertruck is the only van that can drive anywhere under your supervision,” Tesla posted.

For a vehicle that bled from the momentum, this last -minute rush could be a chance to finally stem the bleeding. But the real test will come on October 1, when the tax credits have disappeared and the Cybertruck must survive its own merits for the first time.
