The actor of Top Boy Micheal Ward granted a deposit in the British court for accusations of rape and sexual assault
British actor Micheal Ward was released on bond Thursday after appearing before a court of the London center to face accusations of rape and sexual assault.
The 27 -year -old, who played Jamie in the criminal drama of Netflix High boyFaced with two rape leaders and three chiefs of sexual assault. The accusations first made the headlines last month, while the alleged offenses against a woman would have taken place in January 2023.
Ward appeared before the Magistrate Court of Thames where he confirmed his name, address and date of birth during a short hearing. He did not have any plea and obtained a conditional deposit at a next appearance at Snaresbrook Crown runs in northeast London on September 25.
The conditions of the actor’s surety oblige him not to contact the alleged victim. Last month, metropolitan police also said that they were continuing to support the woman who came out, according to the BBC.
Ward denied the accusations. He previously declared in a statement that he had “full faith” that his name would be authorized before the court.
Ward appeared in films of which Blue story,, Clarence’s book and the recently published American political satire EddingtonAlongside Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal.
In 2020, he won the Rising Star Award at the British Academy Film Awards (Baftas). He was nominated for an actor bafta for Sam Mendes Empire of light And for a Bafta TV price for the series produced by Steve McQueen Ax.
