The church of the church of `Moonies ” denies welding the former first lady of South Korea

The controversial church church of unification denied allegations according to which his organization had welded the former first lady of South Korea with luxury gifts in exchange for trade favors.
Han Hak-Ja categorically rejected the assertions that she led corruption in the face of journalists when she emerged from nine hours of questioning to the prosecutor’s office.
“No … why would I do that?” said the 82-year-old widow of the founder of the church, Moon Sun-Myung, who had to be supported by assistants while she was walking.
Former First Lady Kim Keon Hee, the wife of President ousted Yoon Suk Yeol, is accused of having accepted two Chanel bags and a diamond necklace, worth 80 million won ($ 57,900; £ 42,500), church.
Kim was indicated last month for various charges, including corruption and manipulation of actions, which she denies.
His arrest marked the first time that a former president and former first lady was imprisoned in South Korea.
Yoon was detained in January to face a trial for a failed offer of the martial law last year which plunged the country into chaos.
On Wednesday, Han blamed a former church official, saying that the manager had acted by himself by offering Kim these gifts. The official has since been arrested.
His appearance occurs after refusing the convocation of the special prosecutor three times. “I was suffering after (heart),” she said.
An ambulance was put on hold when it was questioned, reported Reuters, citing the special prosecutor’s office.
On Wednesday, the authorities arrested the conservative legislator Kweon Seong-Dong, which is also accused of having received 100 million won from the church-bribes. Kweon, formerly considered a confidant close to Yoon, denied this allegation.
The Unification Church, officially known as the Federation of the Family for Peace and World Unification, was founded in South Korea in the 1950s by Moon Sun-Myung, who proclaimed the Messiah.
The church is best known to have mass marriages involving thousands of couples, some of which have only been twinned recently by the church.
Critics described the group as “as cult”. Lawyers accused him of constraining the faithful, familiarly known as “Moonies” after its founder, to give large sums of money.
The Unification Church had been submitted to Japan after the assassination of the former head of the country Shinzo Abe. The alleged assassin blamed the group for failing his family and held a grievance against Abe for having allegedly promoted to him.
The group is prohibited in certain parts of the world, including Singapore and, more recently, Japan.
