The controversial Mbappe objective puts the men of Xabi Alonso at the front

Kylian Mbappe scored his second goal in as many games to give Real Madrid an advance at halftime to Real Oviedo this evening.
The Frenchman received the pass from Arda Guller and turned abruptly before drawing a small journey beyond the diving of the goalkeeper Aaron Escandell. The objective was not without controversy, but with the Madrid midfielder, Aurelien Tchouamed, crashing in the midfielder at home Leander Dendoncker with a crunchy plateau to win the ball. Oviedo fans demanded a free kick but it was not to come.
Mbappe, who looked brilliant, also scored the only goal while Madrid opened his season with a 1-0 victory against Osasuna on Tuesday evening.
Madrid dominates the first 45 minutes
Although Madrid can count on contact with the goal, there was no doubt that their display deserved a reward.
After having survived a fear inside the first minute – Thibaut Courtois almost weighing his lines trying to keep the president of Ilyas – the men of Xabi Alonso were well at the top.
Franco Mastanuono when he first departed from Madrid had a good cry for a repressed penalty in the 15th minute after a fight with Dani Calvo while seven minutes later, Federico Valverde saw a hit comfortably saved by Escandell.
Dendoncker threatened at the other end before Madrid returned, some last bets defending preventing the Rodrygo recalled from hitting the target.
Madrid came a few centimeters from the head after 36 minutes. No more good job from Rodrygo has seen Escandell pushing his cross in the area where the more heroic blocking of Oviedo prevented Gulle from returning home.
The hosts, playing their first game in the elite for 25 years, could only hold half-time, however, while Mbappe twisted clear to put the side outside.
