The creator of the “dry” has just explained a key logistical question

When it comes to BreakupThere are rarely simple answers. Everything is wrapped in mystery and intrigue. Which, of course, is in a way the best part on this subject. We like to explore and speculate on what is happening in Lumon. And yet, get an answer, even a little one, here and there is good. This is what the creator of the show, Dan Erickson, has just done.
Addressing the Hollywood Reporter, Erickson dodged questions on major subjects such as the structure of season three or the ultimate length of the series, but definitively answered a question about the logistics and the mechanics of the limits of a cut person. Basically, he asked how Ms. Casey turned into Gemma by leaving the emergency door, but Mark and the rest of the Innies must take an elevator up / descend several floors to do the same. Where is the line? What is the limit?
“So, yes, it’s in fact too – it’s an entire section (in the Bible of the show) of the way the starting threshold works exactly,” said Erickson. “And fundamentally, the company can build it as it wishes. And the idea is that there is somehow only a section – if you had to search through the wall of the cut floor, you would end up reaching a point where you are beyond the threshold and you are no longer in this space where your innovation is.
Which, logistically, is a bit wobbly, but we buy it. The emergency door was in a long corridor, so maybe the corridor goes beyond the limits of the elevator, just on another axis. Anyway, we like it to be thought of and had an answer. There are a few other answers during the interview, including confirmation that Erickson sometimes reads Reddit’s theories. Breakup Season three has been underway for several months now and, it seems, could start production soon. The crossed fingers, it may be hitting Apple TV + next year, or at the beginning of the following year.
