The death of the French streamer “not due to trauma”, finds the autopsy

An autopsy in the death of French streamer Raphaël Graven, known online under the name of Jean Pormanove, noted that this was not due to trauma, according to the prosecutor who was dealing with the case.
The creative content, known to broadcast live videos on the Kick platform, was found dead in a storytelling residence, a village north of Nice on Monday.
The Minister of the French Government Clara Chappaz described his death as an “absolute horror” and launched a judicial investigation into the circumstances surrounding him.
But the prosecutor Damien Martinelli said Thursday that forensic doctors thought that Mr. Graven’s death “was not of traumatic origin” and “not linked to the intervention of a third party”.
He said that medical -legal doctors had found no “internal or external traumatic injury” or burns – only a few bruises and healed lesions.
“The probable causes of death seem to be medical and / or toxicological,” he said.
He said other tests had been ordered and that Mr. Graven may have had a heart problem, in addition to receiving treatment for a problem with his thyroid.
A Kick spokesman previously declared to the BBC that the company “urgently examined” the circumstances around his death.
The local media reported that the 46 -year -old man had been the subject of attacks of violence and sleep deprivation during the streams and died in his sleep during a live program.
Martinelli said on Wednesday that a number of people present at the time of the incident were interviewed by the police.
“The equipment and videos have been seized as part of the investigation in order to clarify the events that occurred before the death and which may have contributed to it,” he said.
