The Democrats return to Texas after the raising to block the redistribution effort
Dozens of Democratic legislators who left Texas to block a controversial redistribution effort ended their two -week confrontation on Monday, allowing progress on a new electoral card supported by Republican President Donald Trump. Their return gives to Texas House that the quorum necessary to move forward with the approval of a card which adds five new districts of the congress likely to promote the Republicans before the mid-term elections of 2026.
