The first teaser for “The Bride!” Is monstrously intriguing

Withdraw, Poor thingsand take Joker: Folia with two With you when you leave: Maggie Gyllenhaal’s first trailer The bride! is here. Whoever wondered if the world has enough bandwidth for two Frankenstein films in a few months can breathe easy; The bride! It looks like it has a completely different and much more chaotic energy than what Guillermo del Toro has cooked.
The bride! was presented as a musical, but there is just a little suspicion of that in this teaser. Instead, he looks greatly at what seems to be a wild romance between the Frankenstein monster (Christian Bale) and his newly relaunched bride (Jessie Buckley):
It is presented as a “daring and iconoclastic vision of one of the most convincing stories in the world”, and here is the official description:
“A lonely Frankenstein (Bale) goes to Chicago in the 1930s to ask the revolutionary scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. The two live back a murdered young woman and the bride (Buckley) was born. What is happening is beyond what one or the other imagined: a murder! A wild romance!
The rest of the distribution includes Peter Sarsgaard, Jake Gyllenhaal and Penélope Cruz; Maggie Gyllenhaal directs and also wrote the script. The bride! arrived on March 6, 2026.
