Thomas Partey appeared to Southwark Crown runs for her advocacy audience

The former Arsenal footballer, Thomas Parte, denied having raped two women and sexually assaulted a third woman.

The Ghanaian midfielder pleaded not guilty to five rape chiefs and an accusation of sexual assault when he appeared to Southwark Crown Court.

The alleged offenses took place between 2021 and 2022, when the 32 -year -old man played regularly in the Premier League. He was charged four days after leaving the North London Club, following the expiration of his contract at the end of June.

Partey obtained a deposit until his trial, which should start in the same court on November 2 of next year.

He spoke to confirm his name before pleading not guilty to each of the charges against him.

The midfielder, who is now playing for the Spanish side Villareal, was already in England when his new team played Spurs in the Champions League on Tuesday. He came as a substitute in what turned out to be a 1-0 defeat to his team.

The conditions for his deposit do not prevent Mr. Partey from playing football, but he must inform the police of any international trip 24 hours in advance and must not contact the complainants.
