The former Dhanashree Verma fell back after the wedding claim of Yuzvendra Chahal

The personal life of celebrities often becomes public fodder, and the separation of the Indian legs index Yuzvendra Chahal and dancer-choreographer Dhanashree Verma was not different. After almost three years of marriage, the couple officially separated on March 20, 2025, after 18 months of separation.
Their divorce, finalized by the Mumbai family court, also involved a reported regulation in which Chahal paid 4.75 INR as a alimony. Almost a month ago, Chahal made the headlines after having labeled the “false” marriage during a conversation with the entrepreneur Raj Shamani. Now Dhanashree has offered his response in a composed way but firm while speaking to Humans of Bombay.
Addressing the comments made by his ex-husband, Dhanashree stressed the importance of borders in private matters. Without directly named Chahal, she said that silence should not be confused with weakness.
“”There is a reason why we say “personal life”. It must be deprived. It is not because I do not give anyone gives anyone the power to enjoy it. It is not correct. It shouldn’t happen with anyone“Said Dhanashree in the interview.
She also used a revealing sentence – “Taali Ek Haath se to bajti nahi » (You cannot applaud with one hand), to suggest that each relationship has two sides in its history. While she refrained from making counter-allegations, her remarks subtly indicated that her silence comes from dignity rather than helplessness.

Focus on the career, not the controversy
Despite the splendor of public speculations around one of the large -scale breaks in cricket, Dhanashree stressed that his goal remains firmly on his professional career. She admitted to having her side of history but has chosen not to develop for the moment.
“”If you want to do great things, you don’t have to remedy it again and again. I have my side of the story. Do I want to talk about it now? No. I want it, maybe in the future? Yes,” Dhanashree concluded.
Since their marriage in December 2020, turbulence reports have surfaced by mid-2022, which led to an official separation. In February 2025, the couple submitted a joint request for divorce, asking the High Court of Bombay to give up the compulsory cooling period of six months. The high court accepted, accelerating the process by the family court.
While their separation continues to attract attention, calm and measured response from Dhanashree reflects its intention to move on, seek growth and closure rather than extending the public dispute. By prioritizing her career in dance, choreography and creation of digital content on controversy, she reported her determination to build her own independent identity in the world of entertainment.
