The Georgian PM promises a repression against the opposition after the demonstrations, accuses the EU of mingling

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, arrested opposition on Sunday (October 5) after the police used peppery gas and water cannons against the opposition demonstrators who tried to enter the presidential palace in what he called was a coup in a controversial election. Georgian anti-riot police arrested five activists on Saturday, when the opposition organized a large demonstration during a day of local elections.
