The Governor of Utah explodes “conflict entrepreneurs” after the assassination of Charlie Kirk

It is too early to determine an exact reason behind the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, according to the governor of Utah Spencer Cox, but the legislator did not chop the words on the role of social media in the generation of animosity among the Americans.
In an interview on Sunday on NBC Meet the press with Kristen WelkerCox said that the friends of the suspect, Tyler Robinson, confirmed that he had plunged deep into the “dark places of the Internet”.
“I cannot sufficiently emphasize the damage that social media and the internet make us all, these dopamine strikes,” he added later. “These companies – stock market capital of dollars, the most powerful companies in world history – understood how to hack our brain, make us added to indignation.”
Cox compared it to dependence on fentanyl and changes in the chemistry of the brain that follows, saying that it is designed to “get us to hate itself”.
He said that he had continued to see the role of social media in real time since the death of Kirk, reaching “every corner” of society.
In fact, a bloody filming video quickly spread on social networks, even on the social platform of truth of President Donald Trump. Tiktok, Meta and other platforms said they would remove death clips.
“Conflict entrepreneurs take advantage of us,” said Cox. “And we lose our agency. And we have to resume this. We have to turn it off. ”
He has also doubled on his previous statements that social media is a “cancer” that has played a role in each assassination or attempted assassination in recent years.
Calling “bad” social media algorithms, Cox noted that UTAH had adopted the laws on the first word in 2023 forcing children to obtain their parents’ permission to use social media applications during certain day periods.
But a commercial group representing companies like Tiktok, X, Meta and Snap continued the State to block the laws. In September, a federal judge prevented Utah from applying them.
Meanwhile, Robinson is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, and Cox told NBC that the suspect had not cooperated with the authorities.
But he added that Robinson’s boyfriend, “who goes from man to woman,” cooperated. Cox also confirmed that if Robinson had grown up in a politically conservative family, there was a “left -wing ideology” associated with the assassination.
Although Cox has been congratulated since Kirk’s death for his pleadings to reject violence and to engage more civil, he said that the Americans should not register on how to act by listening to only one person.
“In my conservative philosophy, and, frankly, in my philosophy of faith, we believe in the agency,” he explained. “We believe that we are each individually responsible for ourselves. And the United States of America is a collection of many different people. And again, no president will make us get out of this. It will be each of us. ”
