The IBJR of Brazil encourages bettors to use regulated platforms in the middle of illegal platforms

The IBJR has launched a new campaign highlighting the risks of illegal Paris and encouraging bettors to use regulated platforms.
The campaign of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Games (IBJR) warns against the risks associated with illegal Paris platforms and how to identify people regulated by the federal government, aimed at both educating and raising awareness. Launched on Sunday, August 31, the campaign is entitled “More goats in the room” and includes television films, radio spots, airport display panels, social networks and an exclusive hotties.
The IBJR recently ordered a study which revealed that 51% of the Brazilian market in Brazilian bets would be used to operate illegally. This leaves bettors at risk of fraud, and limits the collection of legitimate taxes and legal jobs.
The campaign will take place between September and December this year, playing on the expression “Goat in the Room” – a Brazilian version of “An Elephant in the Room”. In this case, the goat or the elephant is illegal bets.
“The goat in the room represents a problem that many see, but it must be treated directly,” said Fernando Vieira, executive president of IBJR. “Illegal bets are a risk for bettors, who have no one to turn to fraud and a loss for society, because it does not generate taxes that otherwise benefit the population.
“The campaign brings this discussion to the general public, promoting education and knowledge and alerting people on the means of recognizing platforms regulated by the federal government and thus protecting themselves from scams.”
Where to find the IBJR campaign
