The judge rejects the trial of $ 15 billion from Trump against the New York Times

An American federal judge canceled the Donald Trump’s $ 15 billion defamation trial against the New York Times Journal on Friday, citing problems with its content.

US District Judge Steven Merryday said Trump had violated a federal rule forcing applicants to denounce in a short and clear declaration on the reasons for which they deserve a reparation from the court.

A legal complaint, said the judge, is not “a protected platform for rage against an opponent”. He gave Trump 28 days to file a modified complaint.

Trump reported that he would continue the New York Times earlier this week in an article on Truth Social, saying that the newspaper was “authorized to lie freely, get dirty and defame me for too long”.
