After the cancellation of a recent Seattle show, the singer D4VD seemed to cancel a large part of his current tour – with all the remaining American tour stops, and a certain number of European Listing programs as canceled on the ticketmaster website.

At the same time, an expanded album that will take place today – Wiggard: MarcesWith an announced release date on September 19, according to Instagram of DV4D – did not appear on streaming services.

The news occurs shortly after a decomposed body was found inside a Tesla seized in Los Angeles, identified as a teenager Celeste Rivas, who disappeared last year.

Several local media reported that the vehicle had been registered with D4VD, the real name of which is David Anthony Burke, 20. His representatives did not respond to a comment request when asked for the Associated Press. The authorities did not involve D4VD in the death of Rivas, and the police did not confirm the ownership of the vehicle.

Neither the D4VD agents nor the label of the singer Interscope immediately responded to a request for CBC comments. But following the news, his tour seems to have been widely canceled. A Wednesday show in Seattle was canceled earlier this week. According to Variety, the shows in Los Angeles and an appearance at the Grammys museum in the city were individually removed from the websites of these places. The only two remaining American judgments – La and San Francisco – are listed as canceled on Ticketmaster.

Some tickets for the next European stage of its tour have remained on sale from Friday afternoon. But many others have already been listed as canceled – including programs in Oslo, Cologne, Amsterdam, Dublin and Glasgow.

Rivas found dead in the vehicle

Rivas, 15, was found dead inside the vehicle, confirmed on Wednesday the office of the medical examiner of the County of Los Angeles. Officials did not determine his cause of death.

The body was discovered on September 8 in a towing lot in Hollywood after someone noticed a stench from the Tesla, police said, media said.

In a statement, the medical examiner’s office said that the body “had been found seriously decomposed.”

“She seems to have been died inside the vehicle for a long time before being found,” said officials.

The police confirmed to CBC that they had searched a house in the 1300 block of the Place Doheny in Los Angeles as part of death. An anonymous representative of D4VD told NBC Los Angeles that the singer has been co -opted with the authorities since the retreat of the body.
