Flags Palestinian agitating and song, “free and free Palestine”, tens of thousands of demonstrators gathered on Saturday in the heart of Berlin to ask for the end of the Gaza War. The demonstrators also called for EU sanctions against Israel, breaking with the longtime pro-Israeli position of Germany, mainly because of its historic responsibility for the Holocaust.
